The New Zealand Internet Exchange (NZIX) is a not-for-profit common interest society, dedicated to advancing the interests of the professional Internet community for the benefit of all New Zealand. Being on the NZIX Committee is a great way to get involved and give back to both the Society and to the Internet community.

Register your interest join our collaborative team of dedicated Internet professionals today. We’re a friendly bunch, who all put in the time we can spare to try and make a positive difference! The time commitment runs to around 2-3 hours per month, inclusive of a bi-monthly Committee Meeting, plus a one Strategy Day per year. If you have a particular area of interest or expertise, you may also be interested in joining our sub-committees: Communications, Operations and Technical.

NZ Committee Requirements

To be eligible, all nominees must meet certain requirements. You can find out more details about this within the Society Rules and ByLaws. Committee Members are also expected to adhere to a Code of Conduct upon joining are required to sign a Consent to Act, Non-Disclosure Agreement, Conflict of Interest Disclosure.
