Committee Election
Nominations for the 2024 Commitee Elections are now closed.
Elections will be for three Committee seats (3 x four-year terms), and currently serving Committee Members are eligible to nominate again.
This year, IAA (Internet Association of Australia) is reducing its Committee representation down to one seat. Therefore, the Committee will nominate the runner up at the election to fill this vacancy, for a two-year term on the Committee.
In summary, there will be three elected four-year terms and the runner up will serve a two-year term.
The following Committee Member is retiring this year:
- Tom Paseka
The following Committee Members are rerunning this year:
- Chris Browning
- Dave Mill
Committee seats are typically for four-year terms. The nomination should address the candidate’s skills and experience and how the candidate will contribute to the NZIX Committee in its work to benefit the Internet and those who help build and operate it. Submissions need to be made via our website and, once accepted, will be posted on the Society’s website (contact details will remain confidential).
All nominees must meet the Society Rules and By Law requirements and must sign a Consent to Act, Non-Disclosure Agreement and Conflict of Interest Disclosure after being elected. Committee Members are expected to adhere to a Code of Conduct upon joining.
Please note that nominations require an eligible member organisation to be valid.
